Serving in the elite Navy Seals of the Israeli Army from 1984 to 1989, Ronen’s values of hard work and commitment were solidified, which in turn paved the firm’s road to success and guides its philosophy. He says with a smile, “The client’s goal must be obtained and our ego set aside.” 

• Known for his integrity, negotiation skills, and relationship loyalty, Ronen stands out today as a veteran transactional attorney with over 15 years in real estate, banking and finance, and business representation.  
• Ronen advises and represents lending institutions, real estate development companies, individual real estate entrepreneurs, closely-held businesses that own and invest in real estate, and entities specializing in asset-based lending.
• He confidently negotiates and executes transactions for residential (including coop and condo units) and commercial real estate purchase and sale, as well as retail, office and industrial leases, and documentation for development, forbearance, workout, and commercial loans in real estate, construction and development (asset-based loans).
• Ronen graduated from Netanya Academic Law School, J.D., 2004, with high honors, and holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics, from Queens College, graduating in 1994, magna cum laude with honors.

Attorney Xiumei Dong brought her many distinguished skills to the Shiponi Law Firm in 2018 and has since accrued extensive experience representing both individual and corporate clients with expertise. 

• Xiumei is proficient in financing, leasing, sub-leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions of residential and/or commercial properties, and more. 
• In addition to drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and leases, attorney Dong is well-versed in representing lenders to ensure smooth closings and protect lenders’ security interests. 
• she has extensive experience representing both individual and corporate clients on a broad range of real estate matters.
• Xiumei earned her B.A. in international relations from Knox College and J.D. from Syracuse College of Law.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Anissa joins the Shiponi Team with over 15 years of experience in the Real Estate industry, including property Management, paralegal, Licensed, Notary Public and title Insurance knowledge.
